Powers on the Rise

Powers on the Rise asks a simple yet loaded question: What makes a true hero? PotR is a post-superhero world. After the golden age of heroes ended, a dark age where no one stepped up to bat allowed crime to run rampant and the people to become complicit in the way of the world. Now, our protagonists, Jay and Jade, choose to put themselves out there and become the new heroes the world has been waiting for. However, they soon learn that shades of grey rarely mesh with the black-and-white mentality of being a superhero. As a plot far larger than either of them begins to unfold, they must choose: do they hold fast in their convictions, or adapt to a world that wants nothing more than to make them hesitate?
